Periodontal Scale/Root Planing

1 hr 30 min

Scaling and root planing is a deep cleaning below the gumline used to treat gum disease. The procedure is generally completed in 2 separate appointments. It involves thoroughly scaling all plaque, bacterial toxins and tartar deposits from your teeth and root surfaces; and then root planing, which smoothes all rough areas on your roots' surfaces. Smooth root surfaces keep bacteria, plaque and tartar from re-adhering underneath the gumline, allowing your gums to heal and reattach themselves more firmly.

We start by numbing the tooth that needs a filling as gently as we can. We remove all of the decayed tooth and bacteria and replace it with a tooth colored filling that bonds to the tooth.

Crowns / Veneers

2 hr

We start by getting the tooth and area numb so that you do not feel any pain. We remove the broken down or decayed parts of the tooth and then make enough room for a "cap" to go over the remaining structure. With our state of the art CEREC machine we take pictures of your tooth and how they fit together to make a custom fit. We then cement the crown and you go home with a custom new tooth!

Dentures & Partials

30 min

If you have no teeth or are looking to replace missing teeth we take an impression of your mouth and sent it to the laboratory to make the partial or denture. In a matter of weeks we give you your completed denture or partial.

Root Canal Therapy

1 hr

A root canal involves removing the nerve of the tooth that has either died or is infected and cannot be healed. We start by numbing the area so you are comfortable and then make a small opening in the top of the tooth. We utilize a rubber damn to isolate the tooth and prevent cross contamination. We then use special instruments to remove all infected parts of the nerve and clean the inside of the tooth. It is then filled with sterile filling material and for best results the remaining tooth is Crowned. (May require 2 visits to complete the root canal.)

Implants

50 min

We start by sending you to receive a free CT scan to evaluate the area you wish to get an implant. When we decide you are able to get an implant we numb the area and make a small hole into the bone. We then place a titanium implant (ancor) into the bone and then cover it up with your normal gum tissue with sutures. After some healing we expose the top of the implant we secure an abutment so that we can make a crown. We then cement the crown to the entire implant abutment apparatus and you can then treat it like a natural tooth.
